"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ Tokyo Sushi & Asian Cuisine – Fresh Sushi, Great Service We’ve been looking forward to trying Tokyo Sushi & Asian Cuisine ever since we saw them building it out, and overall it was a really great experience. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly host. The restaurant is clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed—it feels comfortable and inviting, especially for families. My 12-year-old ordered a boba tea, and she really enjoyed it. The pearls were chewy and flavorful. My mom and I shared a pot of hot tea. It was okay, but very light in flavor—more like one tea bag for several cups. A stronger brew or an extra tea bag would improve it. For food, we ordered the Fancy Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, and a California Roll. Since my daughter is newer to sushi, we stuck with some basics—and they were excellent. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they care about quality and presentation. I would absolutely return just for the sushi. We also ordered the Pad Thai. The noodles and base flavor were good, but the chicken had an off taste, almost like it was cooked near fish. We mentioned it to our server, and she handled it professionally and kindly. She even took half off the dish, which we truly appreciated. That level of customer service is rare these days. Service throughout the meal was wonderful. We never had to ask for anything—they were attentive and did a great job anticipating our needs. Prices are very reasonable for a sushi restaurant and in line with other sushi places nearby, if not better. There’s another sushi and hibachi restaurant in Liberty Lake, but the sushi here is definitely better in both freshness and presentation. We will definitely be back. Next time we’ll choose tofu instead of chicken for the Pad Thai, or explore more of their sushi menu—there are so many options to try. Highly recommend Tokyo Sushi & Asian Cuisine if you’re looking for great sushi, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. @Owners - Thank you so much for the thoughtful reply. "This was my go to sushi spot when it was Toro. I do miss some of the rolls that Kato had but this does not take away from Tokyo. The remodel and refresh from new ownership (same owners as Shiki I believe) was a good one. Great ambience and welcoming upon entering. Sushi was very high quality with a variety to choose from. I thoroughly enjoyed coming in here and will be back for another go around. This is some of the best sushi in the valley."

"Had dinner here last week and it was wonderful. Arrived on a Friday night at around 5:15 and were seated promptly. Wide variety of menu options. Beer, wine and sake only. Didn't see a full cocktail menu and forgot to ask. Service was friendly and quick. Presentation of food was beautiful and tasty. Spicy edamame was probably the best we've ever had. Not spicy hot, just flavorful."
