Overview
Avvio is an AI-powered website builder aimed at the millions of local businesses that have a Google Business Profile but no website. Instead of a blank-canvas editor, Avvio starts from data the business already has: paste a Google listing and Avvio assembles a complete, hosted, mobile-ready site in about a minute.
We designed and built the entire product end to end — the data-import pipeline, the AI copywriting layer, the template system, lead capture, and the hosting stack that puts each site live on its own SSL-secured domain.
The challenge
Local business owners — plumbers, salons, cafés, clinics — know they need a website, but most never get one. They don't have the time to write copy, the budget for an agency, or the design skills to use a page builder. Existing DIY tools still expect the owner to supply photos, write every section, and make dozens of layout decisions. The result is a half-finished site or no site at all. The opportunity was to remove every one of those steps.
Our approach
Start from data, not a blank page
We built an import pipeline on top of the Google Places API that pulls a business's name, category, hours, location, photos and reviews the moment an owner pastes their listing — so the site is 80% populated before they touch anything.
Let AI write the site
We layered an AI copy-generation system over that data to produce a headline, services, about section and calls-to-action written in the business's voice and tuned for their industry — editable, but rarely needing edits.
Design templates that always look good
Rather than a freeform editor, we built a constrained template system that guarantees a polished, mobile-first result no matter what content lands in it — removing the design decisions that stall non-technical owners.
Publish and host in one click
We built the hosting layer so that 'Publish' means a real, live site on a fast CDN with automatic SSL — no separate hosting account, DNS wrangling, or deploy step for the owner to figure out.
